Perhaps Agency Focuses on CPG Innovation and Sustainability at Natural Products Expo West 2026
Managing Director Jen Root represented Perhaps at the 45th anniversary of Natural Products Expo West, a leading conference in retail and the organic food, beverage, and beauty industries. Sessions focused on powerful topics, including how ecological health, food systems, and climate resilience are essential and deeply interconnected.
The conference welcomed its inaugural Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Innovation Summit, where brands and service providers spoke about evolving retail models and how to stand out through human-centered marketing in an increasingly AI-driven world.
Perhaps met with top leaders in the natural and organic products space as the agency focused on forming sustainable partnerships and guiding brands toward what’s next in CPG and partner marketing.

Shoptalk Spring 2026: Perhaps Represents During ‘Retail in the Age of AI’ Event
The Perhaps team attended Shoptalk Spring 2026, whose theme this year was “Retail in the Age of AI.”
The event featured 10,000+ industry players, with one in three attendees consisting of C-Suite leadership from across the retail, consumer brand, and tech spaces.
Speakers spanned established retailers, tech providers, and agencies, including leaders from Reddit, Pinterest, Etsy, Wayfair, and other leading companies. Sessions focused on topics like tactics for AEO and GEO, building and deploying AI agents, and new research on consumer attitudes to AI.
In one session, “Visions for the Future of Marketing and Branding,” Steve Huffman, co-founder and CEO of Reddit, shared an insight from the site’s conversation analytics: “40% of conversations platform-wide are commercial in nature.”
According to Huffman and the Shoptalk team, “much of what appears to be casual dialogue is actually people deciding what to buy, what to use, and what to choose,” influencing how advertisers think about search and discovery in 2026.
The Perhaps team had meaningful conversations at Shoptalk Spring, with further dialogue around brand and corporate storytelling; influencer and social marketing; and the evolution of retail media in an AI-native world.
SXSW 2026: Perhaps Offers Insights on Partnership Marketing During Tech and Innovation Conference
Perhaps also made an appearance at SXSW 2026, the premiere conference for tech, film, and media, in Austin, Texas.
The SXSW Innovation Conference covered several industry topics offering tracks on Brand and Marketing, Tech and AI, and the Creator Economy.
Jen attended key talks including “AI, Human Data, and the Future of Brand Connections.” In this session, Nastassia Predekha, Global Consumer and Marketplace Insights Manager for Nestlé and Billy Jones, CMO of Hootsuite, shared their thoughts on navigating prompt-driven systems while still understanding and staying meaningful to their customers.
Perhaps met with decision makers while offering further insights on how brands are turning to partner marketing agencies to manage their diverse needs in an everchanging industry.
